My part was the scene modeling and 3D-programming. Grauton did all the sound, network and video stuff. Reini handles the gamelogic.

Image based lighting with mental ray

First i did some test renderings to see how HDR works in mental ray.
Bastian is the son of my girlffriend´s sister. He was about to get a e-guitar and an amplifier as a present. My part was to design a symbolic presentcard. I used the REACTOR© engine with the cloth-modifier to create the cable between the amp and the guitar. I used image based lighting to get a good shading.

My girlfriend is used to have a little elk sitting on top of her monitor.
I thought this one was a good model to practise a little low poly modeling and finishing it all with fur.

DIRECTOR 3D application in combination with a CANOMA project.

We integrated my old PIONEER CT939mkII Tapedeck into my old pentium2/400 and made it playing tapes which u can choose from the 3D projected screen. The model of the tapes is created by taking 44 pictures of the realscene and work them all together with METACREATION´s CANOMA© to get a vrml model of the scene.
